Tropical fruits

  1. Mango
  • Family : Anacardiaceae.
  • Presence of resin canals
  • Fruit follows distinct sigmoid curve.
  • Best method of grafting is side grafting.
  • Stone grafting: Grafting on growing seedling.
  • Dry weather induces flowering and wet weather retards it in Mango
