Classification of protozoa
- Subkingdom protozoa is divided into seven phyla of which four i.e. sarcomastigophora, Apicomplexa, Microspora and ciliophoran have representatives that are parasitic.
- Sarcomastigophora and Apicomplexa have largest number as well as important species for a variety of disease in farm animals.
