Methods of application of Bacterial fertilizers (inoculation)

Seed inoculation: This is considered as the easy and effective method of inoculation. The steps are as follows:

✓ Prepare 10 percent sugar solution in water, boil and cool.

✓ Mix the solution to the seed, drain off excess water.

✓ Pour recommended dose of inoculum on wet seed and mix thoroughly.

✓ Dry the inoculated seed in shade.

✓ Show the seed immediately after inoculation.

Soil inoculation or treatment: High temperature, acidic pH and moisture stress affects bacterial inoculation adversely. Application of bacterial fertilizer in furrow and covering them immediately with soil gives the best results of inoculation in soil conditions.
