Signs of sickness of fish

• Fish becomes restless or abnormal
• Loss of balance and maintain its position in the column of water.
• Tends to lie on its side either resting at the bottom or floating at the surface.
• Tails and fins don’t seem to function normally with vigor
• Persisting discoloration is common
• Erosion of scales, fins, gill lamellae or part of skin
• Gills appear pale
• Slimy grey excretion on skin
• Swelling of abdomen
• Bloody or bulging eye
• Slowing down or complete stoppage of feeding.
