About Lesson
The egg turning
- It is more critical to turn eggs in the early stages of the incubation period. But at the end of the incubation period, stop turning eggs.
- When incubating with egg trays, it is advisable to tilt the angle of each egg at a horizontal position of 45 degrees forward and backward (or left and right), and turn the egg every 2 hours.
The egg cooling
- Cooling eggs can also eliminate metabolic waste and provide sufficient fresh air.
- The cooling egg is mostly used for the incubation of waterfowl such as ducks and geese.
- In the middle and late stages of hatching in the summer, when the hatching capacity is large, the chicken embryos are also needed to be cooled.
