Temperature

  • Temperature is the first condition for the development of poultry embryos. The suitable temperature range for general poultry hatching is 37-38.5 °C.
  • The larger the eggs, the lower the incubation temperature required.
  • The suitable temperature for chicken egg hatching is 37.5-38.5 °C, for the duck egg is 37.3-38.1 °C, and for the goose egg is 37-38 °C.
  • During the incubation period, the temperature is higher, and the development of chicken embryos is accelerated, but the chicks are weaker. At temperatures above 41.5 ° C, embryo mortality increases rapidly.
  • The temperature is lower, the hatching time is prolonged, and the weak chicks are increased. When the temperature is as low as 24 ° C for more than 30 hours, all the embryos die.
