Gene regulation in Prokaryotes
- There are several levels of gene regulation.
- One regulates the synthesis of enzymes by controlling the transcription of mRNA.
- Second occurs at translation and controls the activity of enzymes whose synthesis is not regulated.
- It is done by two ways: one by operon and another by process of end-product inhibition.
