a) Conservation Agriculture :

b) Regenerative Agriculture :

  • It is an is an approach to farming system that aims to regenerate the degraded soil system (improving soil organic matter, biodiversity, water cycle) by capturing atmospheric carbon to soil and excluding chemical inputs

 

C) Precision agriculture (PA) :

  • Precision agriculture define a decision support system (DSS) for whole farm management enabled by the advent of GPS and GNSS.
  • PA is a farm management concept based on observing, measuring and responding to inter and intra-field variability in crops with a goal of optimizing returns on inputs and farm resources.
  • It uses Robots Drones , Satellite imagery , Internet and  Helicoptor

 

D) Specialized farming :

  • refers to the farming system when a farmer select only one or few enterprises, in which he has acquired special knowledge and technology skills.

 

E) Contract farming :

  • can be defined as agricultural production carried out according to an agreement between a buyer and farmers, which establishes conditions for the production and marketing of farm products.

 

F) Zero Budget Natural Farming :

  • is a set of natural farming methods, that excludes use of any credit and loan for purchase of external inputs.

 

G) Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) :

  • are a set of recommendations for food production systems that help to improve the quality and safety of the food crop produced.

 

H) Scale neutral technologies :

  • are those technologies which are equally beneficial for all scales of farms ranging from small to large scale farms.
