The approach, strategy and methodology
a. Approach:
- Approach is the style of action within a system which embodies the philosophy of system.
- Approaches deal with general philosophies of teaching.
- Example: Deductive & inductive approach of documentation
- The approach: Way to cook fish: Steam or fry.
b. Strategy:
- The operational design by which government implement its policies.
- Strategies deal with specific actions.
- Example: Expository and discovery.
- The strategy: Order, buy, eat out.
c. The methodology:
- Techniques used by an extension system as it functions.
- Methods deal with more practical nuts and bolts.
- Example: Lecture methods
- Methods: Clean the fish, prepare the ingredient, boil the oil, Put the fish inside the pot
