Scope of communication

  1. Continuous process of exchange of facts, ideas, feeling, attitudes & opinion.
  2. In the process it uses symbols, words, action, pictures & figures.
  3. Communication does not only mean downwards movement of sending of direction, orders, instruction
  4. Internal communication flows in different direction: vertical, horizontal, diagonal, across the organizational structures promotes the managerial function like planning, direction, coordination and motivation
  5. Internal communication may be formal or informal: improves better management of organization
  6. External communication is concern with outside the organization with government, department, customers, dealers, and general public
