- Feedback is the reaction of the receiver as a check of his own effectiveness and guide to his/her future action
- Feedback is a process of sending back knowledge about the message to the communicator
- The purpose of the giving feedback is to provide constructive information that helps another to learn how others regards his/her behavior and its effects.
- Feedback helps to sender to gauge the effectiveness of his/her behavior and to modify that behavior to make it more effective.
- The more defensive the receiver becomes, the less likely it is that he/she will understand and be willing to act on the feedback.
