Additives that promote feed intake or selection

  1. Anti-oxidants:
  • Prevent rancidity of polysaturated fats
  • Eg: BHT ( Butylated hydro xytoluene)
  • BHA ( Butylated hydroxyanisode)
  • Added at 0.1% o level in poultry feed.

 

  1. Flavoring agent:
  • Poultry nectar ( 0.05% inclusion)
