Preparation of UMMB:

• Amount of ingredients based on size of block are calculated based on ratio to be included.
• Molasses, urea, bran, water, mineral mix, cement, salt are collected.
• Urea are mixed thoroughly in molasses while mixing continuously for about 20 minutes.
• Cement is made paste prior to adding to rest of ingredient and then salt is added with cement for hardening.
• After mixing the ingredient thoroughly, mixture should be placed into molds. Mold may be of plastic sheet, container or tin.
• Blocks are then removed from molds after 24 hours and placed in racks to dry.
• Blocks should be left for drying at least 5 days depending on weather condition.
