  1. Scutellum: Reduced cotyledon and attached laterally to embryo.
  2. Aleurone: Tissue contains protein and forms a sheath around the endosperm.
  3. Choleriza: Thin hallow tube like structure that protects the radicle.
  4. Vernalization:
  • Exposure to low temperature.
  • Hormone is vernaline.
  • Leads to increase in gibberellic acid levels.
